Harmony Medicine
In the Ancient Chinese Worldview, the stability of the universe is predominantly influenced by two opposite yet complimentary forces – Yin and Yang.
Yin characterises the feminine, the shadowy and the tranquil, and Yang the masculine, the bright and the active. Universal stability is achieved through a dynamic equilibrium of Yin and Yang.
It is believed that the body of a human being is a microcosm of the universe, and therefore to achieve health is essentially the same as achieving a stable universe, it is about harmonising the forces of Yin and Yang inside our body.
Based on this principle concept, our ancestors set out to develop Harmony Medicine. For over 2000 years, they tasted and tested thousands of herbs from Nature, developing the Herbal Medicine, alongside which they experimented and developed direct physical manipulation such as massage, acupuncture, cupping, and moxibustion.
Over time, Clinical Treatment of Harmony Medicine has come to maturation. They also realised that one’s Inner Balance is not just a matter of treatment, more importantly, it is about personal maintenance.
They thus developed a branch of study in Basic Preventative Care through diet, exercise, breathing, resting, and preventative herbal prescriptions.
This together with Clinical Treatments makes up the so-called Traditional Chinese Harmony Medicine.
